About the Course
Nowadays, we live in a global area where we interact with the human capital of institutions, enterprises, and organisations from diverse cultures. Knowing how to relate to these people in an institutional, international, and business context becomes the key to our success in communication, strategy, and leadership. That is why we must master intercultural diplomacy and use appropriate etiquette to spread the values and essence of the institution we represent.
This 5-day interactive Intercultural Diplomacy and Etiquette training course is divided into five main sessions. Each session will develop the key concepts through theory and visual support so that every delegate can analyse in detail the importance of intercultural diplomacy and etiquette for our relationships in business and negotiations. Hence, the role of intercultural diplomacy in the 21st century is important, as protocol also becomes a strategic intelligence tool. In this sense, digital diplomacy plays a vital role in communicating our actions, our essence, and our communication beyond.
Knowing how to properly manage intercultural diplomacy and the appropriate etiquette required in every context means spreading the values of the organisation, institution, or enterprise we lead together: “credibility,” “coherence,” and “transparency” in both our verbal and nonverbal communication. We must remember that image means communication, so communication implies power.
Core Objectives
The delegates will achieve the following objectives:
- Value the importance of intercultural diplomacy in institutional, international, and business relationships
- Identify the power of image and strategic communication
- Manage verbal and non-verbal communication efficiently
- Know how to greet, introduce, and behave appropriately in a multicultural context
- Keep the identity and image of the institution/organisation we represent
- Communicate with credibility, coherence, and transparency
- Communicate with security in our meetings and negotiations using image, gesture, and body language in a multicultural context
- Learn the image using strategy in our meetings and negotiations
