About the Course

Over the past year, ESG initiatives have become a strategic imperative for all organisations. Increased focus and pressure from investors, regulators, employees, and other stakeholders make ESG a topic that is critical at the board level and essential to cascade throughout organisations operationally. ESG has now become equally, if not more important, than technical and sub-surface risks. On the other hand, ESG risks need to be better understood, much harder to quantify, not standardised, and becoming more complex due to rapidly changing regulatory and investment frameworks. It's vital to ensure operations are run as efficiently as possible from an environmental, social, and governance (ESG) perspective.

This 5-day highly participative ESG Fundamentals training course will help the delegates understand how to deal with ESG initiatives professionally, take the lead with ESG, and focus on the investments required to achieve targets set by their jurisdiction and its corporate citizens. The ESG will also help them monitor, report, and mitigate ESG risks. It seeks to provide the delegates with skills and knowledge in ESG to enhance their business and achieve strategic objectives.
