About the Course

After the pandemic, all companies are in the public eye regarding corporate behaviour and sustainable strategies. To succeed nowadays, all companies MUST acknowledge their own environmental and social impact inside-out and outside-in and implement strategies throughout their value and supply chains. Companies that don't will undoubtedly be more exposed to risks, may face reputational problems, and will not be perceived as "responsible" (which can affect their financial and employee turnover).

This Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) training course is designed to help managers and community officers understand sustainability and CSR better and implement them effectively in their companies. It will cover CSR's key areas (environment, people, governance, and profit) and outline the most effective strategies to lead a sustainable business. This is highly practical, with exercises and case studies presented so that attendees make the most and convert theoretical concepts into practical applications in private and governmental organisations.

Core Objectives

Delegates will achieve the following objectives:

  • Understand the role of Corporate Social Responsibility in business strategy
  • Analyse the current CSR strategy and align it with the business goals
  • Develop a general CSR strategy based on the business's social, economic, and environmental impact while securing a vast range of actions with independent purposes
  • Develop meaningful stakeholder engagement techniques
  • Prioritise investments that enhance their organisation's skills to deliver shared social and business benefit
  • Build a strong business case for the different CSR initiatives
Training Approach

The delegates will develop the required skills to design and implement a Corporate Social Responsibility training course through various instructional methods, including examining multiple case studies, group discussions, and exercises with maximum delegate participation covering current situations and practices and lecturing by an experienced practitioner.
