About the Course

Quality is the central pillar of competitiveness and success of organisations, and it translates into customer satisfaction and market shares. Accordingly, quality needs to be addressed on the managerial level. Quality assurance is the system's built-in activities and procedures to ensure conformity of the outcomes with the prescribed requirements. Quality management is the totality of managerial policies and efforts to integrate quality objectives within the entire system. It lays the foundation for understanding and establishing quality assurance and quality management.

This 5-day interactive Quality Assurance and Management System training course addresses quality on the managerial level and provides a set of strategic planning tools. It focuses on building an understanding of the meaning of quality and how it can be integrated into the management system and maintained through a quality assurance setup. It highlights methodologies that can be implemented to achieve quality improvement, including six sigma and lean management. It will discuss standardisation, ISO 9001, and the related quality management principles. It covers supply chain quality management and total quality management and touches on the topics of leadership, customer satisfaction, and employee involvement. It is designed as an eyeopener for system designers, team leaders, and decision-makers on the value of achieving quality and on how to embrace it along the system levels starting from the strategic level top down.
