About the Course

This 5-day interactive Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems training course provides an overview of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including their characteristics, operation, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting. Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems are standard in almost all industrial systems and applications. A good understanding of these hydraulic and pneumatic systems' design, operation, and maintenance helps keep them used with minimum troubles and shutdown, thereby improving system reliability. It combines the theory and practical considerations related to these systems.

This programme introduces the different types of hydraulic pumps, tanks and fluid types, directional control valves, pressure control valves, flow control valves and various types of linear and rotational actuators. Likewise, it introduces the delegates to more common modern protection and maintenance strategies in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. It helps them understand, learn, and practice some of the essential skills of industrial best practices. Furthermore, it identifies the common standards, including the main guidelines, limitations, and requirements the delegate must know to meet the desired objectives.

Core Objectives

The delegates will achieve the following objectives:

  • Determine different types of pumps and compressors
  • Understand the function of DCV, PCV and FCV
  • Know the sizing of the best efficient actuator
  • Define the best devices to relieve and protect the system
  • Operate the hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Training Approach

The delegates will receive thorough training on the subjects utilising a variety of proven adult learning teaching and facilitation techniques, including presentation, pre-assessment and post-assessment tests, brainstorming, and participant case studies analysis.

The Attendees

Likewise, it will be valuable to the professionals but not limited to the following:

  • Foremen
  • Mechanical Engineers
  • Instrumentation and Electrical Staff
  • Process Control Engineers
  • Team Leaders and Supervisors
