About the Course

Globalisation and the diversity of teams bring challenges that are worth thinking about. By stepping out of the pressure of the daily routine and sharing with other leaders and managers, we increase the likelihood of considering more executive ways of dealing with the complex and ambiguous challenges that await us within organisations. Leading teams nowadays is a challenge, especially because conflict in the workplace is unavoidable, and as leaders, we should have the skills to manage it strategically. It's important to understand when we can prevent it or when we should foster it. Speaking about conflict is not only to speak about negative consequences. Indeed, we can find positive consequences from good conflict management, such as process improvement, diversity and creativity promotion, and improvement of self-esteem and communication skills.

The delegates will explore key leadership and conflict management skills and how to transfer them to the complexity of the organisational contexts in which we find ourselves. Based on different approaches, the delegates will explore their profile as leaders, reflect on their competencies, and understand the difference between leading and managing, which are bases for creating a vision and shared values in our teams. Moreover, as effective leaders, it's fundamental to analyse our approach to conflict management, examine how we handle our emotions, and review our communication in our relations. Afterward, they will be more aware and hence able to give more forceful responses and develop positive relations in our workplace.

This 5-day Strategic Executive Leadership and Conflict Management training course will give not the opportunity to think about ways to lead teams and organisations; it will also provide a deep understanding of the conflict in the workplace, pointing to strategies to overcome and increase well-being and productivity in the organisations.
