About the Course

This 5-day interactive Strategic Corporate Governance training course is carefully outlined to take the delegates through a blend of three key interlinked corporate topics: Governance, Strategic Management and Strategic Leadership, aiming to enrich their knowledge and understanding of those mission-critical practices. It elaborates on all the processes of Corporate Governance covering frameworks at both the Board level (Board Governance) and the Executive Management levels (Assurance and Control). Delegates can assess the strength of their Organisation's Governance Practices and identify where change and improvement are needed.

It addresses all the elements of the strategic management system from setting the purpose until successful implementation and elaborates on the role of the leadership in realising this success. Delegates will be able to establish the strategic dimension tying Corporate Governance with Strategic Planning across the organisation. Likewise, it will also present the Guiding Principles of the Governance Standard Codes and how Corporate Governance is measured and benchmarked worldwide. Moreover, this programme will elaborate on the segregation of duties between the board and the management to ensure a quality management system; it will elaborate in detail on reporting the control functions to the board committees instead of the executive management.
