About the Course
The Project Management Professional (PMP®) Exam Preparation Training provides comprehensive grounding in the Project Management Institute’s (PMI’s) globally recognised body of knowledge to prepare project professionals to apply for and earn the PMP® credential. This challenging PMI Authorised Training Partner (ATP) program is fully aligned with PMI’s PMP Examination Content Outline (ECO). It integrates the three domains of People, Process, and Business Environment, with a strong emphasis on the consistent application of predictive and agile/hybrid project approaches across the entire value delivery spectrum.
Designed around the official PMI “PMP Course by PMI,” the program’s structure and learning outcomes follow five modules that reflect how work is carried out in real-world projects: building a high-performing team, getting started, doing the work, keeping the team on track, and keeping the business in mind. Alongside strengthening core project management principles, delegates apply concepts through realistic scenarios and case-based exercises, followed by in-depth discussion and exam-style question reviews. The training also provides 35 contact hours of formal project management training, fulfilling PMI’s prerequisite for the PMP® exam application.
Delegates are actively engaged in discussions, group work, and exam-style questions directly mapped to PMP ECO tasks and enablers. They will leave with a clearly defined plan for effective post-course study and a solid understanding of what is required to pass the exam, enabling them to confidently apply people, process, and business-environment competencies across the value-delivery spectrum to successfully lead and direct projects.
Core Objectives
The delegates will achieve the following objectives:
- Explain the PMP® certification requirements and application process, and demonstrate an understanding of the PMP Exam Content Outline structure (People, Process, Business Environment)
- Select appropriate predictive, agile, or hybrid methods to successfully deliver business value through projects and programs
- Apply practical leadership, communication, and conflict‑management techniques to establish and sustain high‑performing teams
- Use leading practices to develop integrated project plans that define and manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, risk, communications, and procurement
- Understand and meet stakeholder needs and expectations through tailored engagement strategies implemented at the right levels throughout the project life cycle
- Assess project risks, issues, and changes, and take appropriate action to maintain alignment with project objectives
- Track project performance, business benefits, and value throughout the project life cycle, and recommend actions to protect or improve value delivery
- Apply knowledge and skills to prepare for the PMP® exam by completing exam‑style questions and creating an individual study plan mapped to the PMP ECO
Training Approach
This training course uses PMI-authorised content and a structured, practice-oriented approach that combines focused instructor-led presentations with group discussions, realistic case studies, and scenario-based exercises aligned with the PMP® exam. Delegates complete activities and exam-style questions mapped to the PMP ECO, apply concepts across predictive and agile/hybrid environments, and benefit from regular knowledge checks, debriefs, and coaching to build confidence and support an effective post-course study plan.
