About the Course

An organisation rises and falls with the calibre of its senior leadership team. Because senior and board-level leaders represent the point of origin of both strategy and culture, their ability to truly 'lead' takes on a whole new level of importance.

The tone with which they communicate, the context they set, and the cultural values they embody are more than their 'leadership style' - they are the cues that shape and influence the behaviours of the management layer below them and that then cascade down and throughout the entire organisation from there. The impact of this can literally make or break an organisation.

The delegates will engage with cutting-edge leadership skills and approaches in this intensive 5-day Boardroom Leadership for the 21st Century training course. They will learn effective methods for leading the middle-management layer reporting to them and discover how to shape a culture marked by high performance, engagement, and staff retention. The course also helps delegates fine-tune their interpersonal finesse, and it enables them to sharpen their skills in the areas of stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and communication.

Furthermore, it will deepen the leader's cross-cultural understanding, helping them to lead individuals from other cultures more effectively and to, work effectively internationally and build solid partnerships with colleagues, clients, and customers in different countries and cultures.

Core Objectives

Delegates will achieve the following objectives:

  • Increase your leadership self-awareness
  • Harness the formidable power of senior leadership
  • Understand your leadership style - and the impact it has on the organisation
  • Enable your middle managers to translate strategy into business results
  • Create a high-engagement, high-performance work culture
